Bodybuilder ITURRI continues to expand and is continuously extending its plant in Wilnsdorf (North Rhine-Westphalia): The site in South Westphalia has now been expanded by a complete new building.

 

This again provides more production capacity at the main plant. ITURRI Plant 2 is home to the prefabrication of superstructures and roll-off containers.

 

Located in an industrial area of Wilnsdorf in the direct vicinity of the freeway, the new plant is about 900 meters away from the main plant as the crow flies. This new building has a hall area of 1,000 square meters and is also equipped with an overhead crane (lifting capacity 10 tons).

 

Six production stations for vehicles or roll-off containers are available here - capacity can be increased if required. In addition, the employees also have modern social rooms at their disposal there. There are also large open spaces for parking and storage of chassis. This new building replaced the interim solution for Iturri body prefabrication set up in spring 2020.

 

In summer 2018, the long-established body manufacturer (formerly Gimaex) from the Siegerland region was integrated into the international ITURRI Group. Since then, the site at Plant 1 (final assembly and administration) has also been expanded and converted for expanded production.

 

The order situation at the Wilnsdorf site is very good: Production is currently running at full capacity for the long term - this also includes some state procurements. From Wilnsdorf, up to 120 fire-fighting and special vehicles as well as roll-off containers are delivered to customers all over the world every year. The German Iturri site currently has 110 employees and generates annual sales of around 25 million euros.
